What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit. 16 GB of RAM is recommended (8 GB works but is slower), plus a few GB of free disk space for the speech model and your videos.
An NVIDIA graphics card makes transcription and export much faster; without one everything still runs on the CPU.
Are my videos uploaded anywhere?
No. Transcription, editing, skin smoothing, stabilisation and export all run on your computer; your videos are never uploaded to Editvio servers.
Only when you use the platform’s AI (AI editing, script writing, voice-over…) is the material needed — the transcript, a few sample frames, the voice-over text — sent through our server to the AI provider, and it is not stored. See our Privacy policy.
What are credits?
Credits pay for the platform’s AI: AI editing, script writing, voice-over, AI images and AI video. The app shows the estimated cost before each job, and nothing is charged when the system fails.
New accounts get 100 free credits. Monthly and yearly plans include credits every month (they expire at the end of the month and don’t roll over); purchased credits never expire. Transcription, cutting, editing and export run on your PC and use no credits.
Can I use my own AI keys?
Yes, on plans that include “Use your own AI keys”. Enter a Claude, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenAI-compatible key in the app’s Settings: the key stays on your computer and the app calls the provider directly — not through our servers, and no credits are used. You pay that provider directly.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Transcription, editing and export run on your computer. Your licence is checked whenever you are online, and you keep full plan features for 7 days without a connection. Only the platform’s AI, stock footage and posting need the Internet.
What is the difference between Free and paid plans?
The free plan includes the whole automatic editing workflow, but export is capped at 720p, 10 videos a month and videos carry a Editvio logo. Paid plans remove the logo, allow unlimited videos, export in 1080p or 4K and include monthly AI credits; higher tiers add batch editing, auto-posting and more computers.
How do licences and devices work?
Sign in inside the app with your phone number or email (one-time code, no password). Your plan belongs to your account: Free 1 computer, Creator 1 computer, Pro 2 computers, Studio 5 computers. Moving to a new PC? Remove the old one on your Account page and sign in on the new one.
Monthly and yearly plans simply expire — there is no automatic charge. When a plan ends you keep using the free plan and all your projects.
How do payment and refunds work?
Choose a plan on your Account page and scan the VietQR code with any Vietnamese banking app. Payment is detected and your plan is activated automatically within minutes — no need to send a screenshot.
Your first plan purchase can be refunded within 7 days if the software isn’t right for you (see the Refund policy).
